What amenities can you live without when it comes to a home?

Looking into new places and a lot of these homes dont have dishwashers... unless im paying $2,000 per month. I can't live without a dishwasher i dont think.

Our washer and dryer broke in the complex so we go across the street to wash but now looking for a new place id like a washer and dryer nearby!!

it's easy enough to hand-wash your own dishes. If you have to hand wash an entire families dishes though, it's a bit much. But washing your own dishes by hand is far easier than loading up your clothing and driving to a laundromat carrying your clothes inside, and then sitting around for hours to watch your clothes wash so that nobody steals them. I'd rather have a clothes washer/dry than a dishwasher, but a dishwasher is nice.

A dishwasher? Wow haha, I've never had a dishwasher before, it's not common where I'm at.

Those 2 in 1 washer/dryer are pretty cheap nowadays, can't fill up as big of a load but takes up way less space.

For me, I need a stove, a pot and a pan. I can't imagine having to eat out everyday haha.

We have a dishwasher that has never been used, so that is an obvious one. We could easily live without a clothes dryer too.

Yeah. We live in a dorm suite. It’s two bedrooms for four girls, a bathroom and common room. We have a fridge, microwave and toaster oven air fryer thing, along with other very simple applications we can stash.

It isn’t horrible, but I go to a massive school that has really good dining. He’ll, we have Starbucks in some dining districts, not that that’s my thing.

Ooooo that sounds so fancyyyy. I was in London for my degree so they stashed us in like a pigsty. I'm pretty sure it was abuse. Hahah I'm just kidding of course, but yeah the rooms weren't big and there were two people per room with a shared dorm bathroom on each floor.

Unfortunately Bert didn't make it through all 3 years of college. My genius 200 IQ roommate decided to stick a metal food container in Bert to heat up soup and I'm sure you can guess how that went 😅😅. He still owes me money.

You can live without a dishwasher. Washing dishes and cookware for two people after dinner takes less than five minutes. A washer and dryer are so much more helpful, and save hours per week.
