I want to, but I can't get over the fact that there will be a child out there that is my DNA (biologically my child) and I don't get to meet and care for him/her, even tho I want to help others.

I would never donate my sperm to a random woman. I want to know my kids, love them, protect them, provide for them. I want to go hunting and to football games with my boys and I want to love on my daughters so they grow up knowing they’re valuable. So no thanks.

Been there. It’s rewarding, have kids of my own so it feels different. Would do it again.

But what if your kids someday meet your doner kids and they don't know they are related and enter a sexual relationship. Can you imagine the mental trauma they will go through if at some point during the relationship they do a 23&Me and find out that they are brother and sister. The changes of this happening is low, but it's still there.

I understand your point, but personally I have that covered. The boys and girls I have that could meet and 'potentially form couples' are both physical-space-wise and age-wise too far away from each other.
