Would you ever seriously consider donating sperm/eggs to a friend?

I found a few websites for sperm donating and coparenting like Co-parentmatch and apps. I genuinely don't understand why people would choose to coparent outside a relationship or divorce.

Would you do it? Maybe via natural or artificial insemination or something.

I would have no interest in co-parenting, but if someone wanted/needed my sperm, due to fertility issues, then I would, yes.

I would want to make sure that I would not be held financially liable for any resulting children, though.

I have no interest in co-parenting or whatever that is.

But if a couple or a person needed my sperm because of fertility issues and they couldn't conceive or their partner was infertile then yeah I'd help em out.

But that'd be the extent of it and if that kid wanted to seek me out when they're an adult then I'd be fine with that. Then I'd go from there but I am not gonna co-parent with someone stranger or friend.

Been a sperm donor for a bank and as a known donor as well as having my own kids. I found it a very rewarding and positive thing to do. Look it up, egg donors are more rare and get much better compensation.

About 27 or so years ago, my ex-GF wanted me to father a baby for her and told me that I didn't need to have anything to do with it. I turned her down. I could not live with myself having done that.

The only way I think I would agree to it would be if she agreed to get pregnant twice and we each get to keep one. It would have to be with a good friend that I trust and have known for a long time.
