SShould I contact the state bar about this?

I picked up a charge in June 2023 right? I hired an attorney & paid his retainer.

Its been over 2 years & I still haven't heard anything about it. So I don't know what is going on & haven't contacted my attorney in some time.

Well.. I've been trying to contact him for the last 3 weeks now. He's not answering my calls or returning my voicemails.

He's been paid several thousand dollars by me & I can't get ahold of him for weeks now. I don't know what else to do but maybe contact the state bar & see if they can help.

One last thing... he told me when this all happened that because it's a felony they have 6 years to charge me with a crime.

I just want an update to what's going on with my case. I don't know what to do.

I would report him. It is unethical what he is doing.
