People will still use their cars, their own private bubble that gives them a sense of freedom, even if the city streets are so clogged you can barely move around, let alone park. A few will start to walk and find a new form of freedom.

People will start to plant trees and grow fruit on roof terraces, as space down below at street level will get scarcer.

Going underground? No way, not for me.

Until they have teleportation everything will still be moved by truck and ship, will still need some type of vehicle to get around, we don’t need to go underground, we have plenty of land that isn’t inhabited, the population will slow down because of many factors , wars, lack of food, more birth control methods and other things

Most of the population will be culled and numbers not allowed to grow beyond a billion at the very most

Everything will look the same but everything will be handled by Ai and robotics so you won't need (or be allowed) to leave your home i. e. cell because you won't own it
