That depends on what you mean by “where a person is from”. I can’t do it, but an educated and trained person can somewhat accurately surmise a person’s lineage and even heritage from facial features. The color and texture of skin and hair, as well as prominent skull features can help the trained eye determine more about you than you might think.
If you’re interested in this sort of thing, the TV series “Bones” contains a fair bit of actual science centering around forensic anthropology. It’s loosely based on a real anthropologist’s life and work, and she helped produce the show. So she insisted on meaningful scientific context, and it shows. Otherwise i’m sure you can tap into a number of other resources on the subject if you want to focus strictly on the science without the dramatization of fictional storytelling.
