Have you ever pulled a Public Address prank?

Many years ago, we used to prank the company secretary by asking her to make announcements that were pranks.

One of our favorites was asking her to call individuals over the PA system, for example..

"Jack Meov, please come to the lobby. Jack Meov."

She usually didn't get it until much later.

Have you ever done, or heard, something like this?

We had a signup sheet in the computer resource center back in school. The kid at the desk would have to shout out the name of the person to give them the next available computer. He eventually would just cross them off when he spotted them, but one time there was a kid with a "funny" name and he got pissed that he was standing right there and never got called. After that the kid went back to saying every name on that list.

A friend sent out a message on a supermarket system "this is a customer service announcement. Could Mrs Jones go to the service desk immediately"

Caused quite a big queue.

I was in a department store, and an employee in the store had the receptionist page "Jack Hammer to hardware"... The guys working in the electronics department were laughing. I assume they were the ones who asked her to do that. LOL

Yeah, I had a dawdling friend „collected“ through a PA announcement in the mall. He didn’t like that. 😬😬😬
