My brother was going through some hard times way back, just broken up with his fiancee b4 the wedding as she was cheating and leaving him for a Lithuanian guy, she was threatening him with the police iver moving out of their house so she could move in with the other guy as the lease was in her name (didn't know that at the time) I called him a few times and called by his place feeling in my gut something was wrong but I ignored that feeling and went off to go out to a club and hook up with this girl. Anyway talking to some of his friends and nobody had seen him and they told me what was happening. So Anyway I hooked up with that chick and never thought anymore about it. Called him a few times at 7am no answer. So I went down to his place and no answer. I lifted a few old screw drivers from his garden shed and I pryed the pvc windows open and climbed in. Searched his house and upstairs there he was with a noose around his neck, hed hung himself with a rope around the door using his bodyweight to strangle himself as he sat down.

I regret that more than anything in my life.

my favorite uncle was dying of cancer. i never knew. apparently he'd be diagnosed and died within about 5 months. i only found out when i was told by my mother that he was dead. i was an emotional wreck. he was, aside from my dad, the most significant male figure in my life. he was a college educated, navy jet flying, football playing, IT, funny, cooking rennaisance kind of person. i strugged hearing he died and on the day of his funeral i was so overwhelmed that i simply didn't go. i was literally in my black suit and standing at the door and felt like i could not open the door to leave. So I didn't go. I regret this to this day not for me or my uncles sake, but feeling like i should've been there for my aunt and cousins. as hard as it was for me to lose an uncle losing a father and husband was probably harder.

I've apologized and they've said repeatedly that they hold no resentment and understand but still i regret not going to support them

a couple things come to my mind, i can live with most. but i still dont know what made me lift my panties when hanging off the horizontal bar at the playground with my legs hooked all those years ago. people were looking whilst we were trying out some positions on them. some boys were perving around and i was so sick of them, i just wanted to play with my girl friends. now i can't go upside down on such bars in school anymore and i still go to school with all of them. i have no idea how i've kept it together with all of them knowing how i look down there. back then i didn't even have any pubes to at least give me SOME cover. i guess the only boy not being a perv became my boyfriend some time later, but now that i'm writing it out i do start to wonder though...

Moving too many times.

When you are young, picking up and moving a few times isn't a big deal.

But as I got older and kept moving from place to place - even to another state and then back again - suddenly I wasn't so young and as I got older and was still moving around, I had to ask myself "How many times can you keep starting your life over again"?

I now believe that staying in one place is better.

This was a big mistake in my life!

I talked to someone online and the plan was to meet and start a life together. The only thing is, when I got there, I then looked up someone I lost contact with because I did love them. And if they was willing to have a relationship and get together I will not need this new relationship. But it went south and in the disappointment I canceled going to meet the new women I did meet online. And if I did go, I probably be happy today still with her. After a got over the rejection of my old girlfriend I tried to find her the new one again but couldn't.

Lesson learned: leave the past in the past. Do not look for a new boyfriend or girlfriend tell you are fully over your last one. When you make plans don't 2nd guess yourself follow threw.

My first project I ever did was someone's wedding. He ghosted me after I gave him the short cut and then asked me for the footage but I was 17 and broke so when I ran out of space, I wiped his b cam footage and it turned out he didn't have any copies.

Now the guy was stupid for sending me originals especially without telling me but I was so embarrassed and ashamed, I didn't take another big job for a couple years and I always charged for at least 2 copies storage after that no exceptions.

I learned never assume.

I assumed I'd never hear from him because he didn't like what I did or was trying not to pay

I assumed he had copies already

But I learned some adults are broke, extremely busy and trying to figure out how to make shit work just like I was.

Honestly, the mistakes themselves taught me something.

But if I had to choose, it would be the times I ignored my intuition , the moments I knew something wasn’t right, yet stayed anyway.

Not because I was weak.
But because I was hopeful.

That kind of mistake doesn’t just cost time , it costs peace.
And once you learn that, you don’t repeat it.

Not going full time at my job last yr. They laid me off when I workd part time n said they only had full time. I didn't take full time. Three months latr I askd them if they had any positions n they said no. Now I don't hav a job.
