Yeah, Einstein never said that. It’s a misattributed quote, one that’s been used in all kinds of places in different variations but the earliest show of it is in a 1914 book from a psychologist of the time named William Stern who wrote: “my definition is this: Intelligence is a general capacity of an individual consciously to adjust his thinking to new requirements: it is general mental adaptability to new problems and conditions of life.” In his piece called The Psychological Methods of Testing Intelligence
The measurement of intelligence is the ability to understand without experience or teaching. It's the ability to join the dots when you can't see the numbers.
1st thought: The way I'm decoding this tells me that I saw too much 1337 speak in the 2000s lol
2nd thought: Trope, argument for authority involving Einstein
3rd thought: Trope, quotes supposedly attributed to Einstein, between Einstein and Lincoln who wins?
4th thought: Would it be interesting to build a database of sourced quotes?
5th thought: The ability to change seems to be a much more fair measure than what IQ offers.
"The Measure of Inches and Feet are a Pain in the Ass, use Cm's intead"
I full agree with that, yes...

This is how I interpreted it but I’m not sure if my answer is right or wrong.
“The measure of intelligence is the ability to change.”
Cool. I did that totally on my own.
I didn’t Google image reverse search anything.
Did the user purplepoppy or I get closer to the correct answer?
The writing says change, but it has nothing to do with intelligence. Humans are simply good at recognising words even if the letters aren't in the right order or are replaced by numbers/symbols.
I was the first person to comment “ “The measure of intelligence is the ability to change” on this question
Oh, wow. That is like so awesome! I will confess, I read everybody elses answer first 'cuz I'm a little slow this morning. 🤣
The measure of intelligence is the ability to change
The measure of intelligence is the ability to change. I most definitely agree.
The Measure of intelligence is the ability to change.
Albert Einstein
I'm not sure, but why do I have the urge to want to kill John Lennon now for some reason?🤣
Yes, Einstein was correct. I can only assume he was a liberal.
His political views were transparent to those who would bother to actually know something about him 😁
@andreasderjuengere Probably, but why would I want to learn about a dead guy?
Einstein🙂
That's a cool one.
No, I tried
