How do you handle someone who constantly twists what you say?

I no longer handle them. They can believe what they want it is none of my business, if I get asked and confronted about it, I will say my side of things, if not that is better, I would rather not get bothered.

I normally just ignore those people. Can lead a horse to water but you can't force it to drink. You can also drown it if necessary.
