They lost 9 billion dollars in 2025 and Amazon is slashing 2/3 of having merchandise delivered by the post office.

I guess those FOREVER stamps aren't forever after all.

I can't even imagine how I am going to live without this resource.

And how are the charities going to notify us without the paperwork to donate to their cause?

Highly doubtful. This is the threat that USPS management is giving Congress, to try to get Congress to act and increase subsidies to USPS.

If Congress doesn't act, it's more likely that USPS will be privatized.

I don't think so, from what I heard it's going to become a private company, meaning someone bought it or the government no longer wants to be responsible for it, which has its pros and cons

Article I, Section 8, Clause 7 grants Congress the power to establish post offices and post roads, forming the constitutional basis for the U. S. postal system. My guess is that Congress has the power to cancel them.

Fedex and UPS do now. My guess is that a replacement for the post office will emerge in the private sector.
Mailing paper Flyers and ads that the taxpayer has been paying too much for will stop. We didn't read them anyway

No, but they are on a path towards bankruptcy by early 2027. That means they are going to hike stamp prices again.

I either use email or if I have to physically send I use fed-X or UPS
