Should Trump absorb US Postal Service into executive branch? he's stated that mail voting is fraud & to end it & USPS is unprofitable & privatize it?

Please bear in mind that USPS is NOT profitable cuz of cost of rural delivery, requirement it self fund itself & retirement liabilities.

Also, mail in voting is ABSOLUTELY safe & there is no voter fraud through mailed ballots.

Also, the USPS has constitutional status & statutory independence from executive.

Mail in voting is fraught with danger as everyone everywhere else knows and we (dems and repubs) knew up until 2020. All the benefits we like about the postal service were implemented after a private citizen decided to compete with the postal service. You are right though, it is constitutionally mandated so it would require a constitutional amendment to get rid of it. I believe in doing things the right way, rather than trying to circumvent the constitution *ahem*

Nobody else in the world agrees and democrats didn't agree until they instituted it to prevent the orange man. Same as how you say we should do away with the constitution because it's old when it benefits you, but you try to appeal to conservatives sense that the constitution should be upheld when it benefits you. There are a lot of services we pay for and receive for our taxes. Should we stop building and maintaining the public roads? Close the National Parks? Get rid of Social Security? Whoops, that's right! Some of that is already being done, in order for our taxes to cover tax cuts to billionaires who don't pay their share of taxes anyway. The post office is a vital public service. Leave it alone. Trump already did tremendous damage to it in his last term and now he is here to finish it off.

So, this is why he wants to privatize it. I was curious. So he intends to run again, against the Constitutional rules, or so he says. Let's hope Congress does something besides just sit there and do nothing while he does what he wants.

@CandyRattt Actually all those countries or at least most of them have free health care and education. I know that the Netherlands has both and Japan and the Betherlands has free healthcare. So no, Trump is not wanting to be like them in that aspect.

@dustybiker2 Unfortunately, Congress needs to agree with wanting to remove him, at least 2/3 of it, but being the Reps hold the majority of the House and Senate now, they will not remove him because they want to keep their jobs. Unless he does something that is totally against the Constitution to the point that there is much civil unrest, nothing will be done.
But then he violated the 14th amendment which says insurrectionists or anyone parking in one cannot run for office, and he did.

The USPS has not been profitable in decades. It did more than deliver mail. It provided employment for many veterans. It also has something that UPS and FedEx does not have. It is a federal crime to tamper with the US Mail.

Yes to Both. We have no need to utilized the Article 1 Section 8 power to provide for a postal service today. It should be privatized until such time that we are unable to reach parts of America via private means.
