Why do you think people are so naturally drawn to what’s easy, entertaining, and immediately rewarding even when they know it doesn’t really add lasting value to their lives?

At what point did we start normalizing, sometimes even taking pride in choices that don’t truly align with growth, discipline, or integrity?

Do you think this is simply human nature or a reflection of the environment we’ve been shaped by?

And in your view, is morality actually becoming rare or is it just being redefined in ways that make us more comfortable with ourselves?

Because sometimes it feels like we don’t just avoid what’s difficult, we slowly adjust our standards so we don’t have to face that discomfort at all.

So beyond everything external achievement, status, validation, what does ‘being human’ actually mean to you? What gives life real meaning or purpose in your eyes?

And if you’re being completely honest, are you genuinely fulfilled with the life you’re living right now?

If not, what do you think is really holding you back and is it something outside of you, or something within you that you haven’t fully confronted yet?

If you are fulfilled, what have you built within yourself that goes beyond anything material, something that reflects real depth, self awareness, and character?

Because personally, I don’t think people lack awareness as much as they lack the willingness to sit with uncomfortable truths about themselves.

It’s easier to chase what feels good now than to become someone who can sustain something meaningful long term.

And maybe that’s where the real gap is, not between who we are and what we want but between what we say we value, and what we consistently choose.

So I guess the real question is, are we actually living in alignment with the life we believe in or just getting better at justifying why we’re not?

I think it’s almost impossible to completely avoid acting on instant gratification—but it’s a human weakness, and I think something we can work on. A person can develop themselves in a way that they don’t make decisions based on those impulses. Over time, they gain the willpower to become who they truly want to be by going against their instincts that makes people feel satisfaction.

So maybe the real question is: Do we want to learn how to resist that pull of immediate satisfaction, or not?

I believe we can do it. Those impulsive choices don’t define who we are—they’re just moments of weakness. And because we’re human, we can improve and overcome.

That’s an interesting perspective, but do you think attributing it to past life karma takes away from the responsibility we have over our choices now?

Our choices now affect mostly our next life. But as we all know, sometimes, karma can come early.

I get your perspective, but I think even if karma plays a role, it doesn’t really change the fact that what we choose now still shapes who we become in this life.

At some point, whether it’s karma or not, we still have to confront the gap between what we say, we value and what we actually live by.
