I am very confident in anything and everything that I do
But this is the understanding that just because i'm confident , just because I think I know something I know that there's going to be another level and another level , and another level and level
And just because I think I know something just because I think I feel something even my questions and answers on here , it does not mean that i'm right it , that is my belief in that moment and\nWhen the next moment comes to learning more to go to another level , i'm all for it
So if you're questioned was , what do you know
I knew nothing because it's going to change minute by minute day-by-day. Person from person experience from experience love for love
Everything changes and I accept that. Because the more I know the better I feel, the more I understand.\nBecause I know there's going to be another moment , and there's going to be more to understand we just keep growing , we keep going forward
What is confidence? A miserable little pile of secrets. But enough talk... Have at you !
Confident in who I am? Well, yes, but then at 45, it's not really an achievement lol, it's just a very basic thing.
Actually, I was also very confident in who I was at 16, and then... Life showed me a couple of plot twists in my homemade scenario 😂
Yep, but I shall be more specific, because "life" is too much of a vague and overused notion.
I spent a fair amount of my youth dealing with philosophical questions about the world. I assumed, naively, that this kind of analytical performance would make me quite self-aware. It did not, because I totally overlooked that what I am is not just a morality based algorithm, I slowly but also brutally discovered that what I am is also a lot about impulses, underground thoughts and feelings I blissfully ignored for years...
What about you, you certainly appear as immodestly confident in who you are lol, but how ancient this confidence is?
I kind of got the idea that the phoenix tag you use wasn't just about aesthetics hehe
What part of your identity did you struggle with as a teen?
I'm glad that I don't have such emotional doubts about myself. People who think too much about themselves and direct too much focus on what they do to be likes and accepted end up with exactly the opposite effect.
Most people are opportunists and when they notice someone is too self absorbed and the person lacks often situational awareness, they will in best case abandon this person. You can be confident about your person but, confidence is just short terms strategy to cover huge deficits in someones personality. Sometimes it's better to expose it and showing other you don't care about that, they take or they don't
I’m mostly confident but still growing. I think I've come a long way from where I used to be but there's so much more I need to work on before I can say I'm fully confident in myself.
@Simslover92 very nice. :)

Yes, I’m pretty happy and confident of who I am today. I think we’re always changing and growing, but having a good sense, accepting, and being proud of who we are is so important. I’m also thriving and always allowing myself space to grow with different inspirations I’ve encountered in life.
Very happy for you Boba! also very much in agreement with your last sentence. never stop learning and growing! i swear ill be like 80 and still want to learn more new things lol.
😎😊🫂
Very confident. like the most confident i've ever felt in my whole life. there's a wholeness in me now like i have a hard time even describing lol. overall i feel more like me than i ever have. there's a few people on here i'd like to thank for helping me get here but don't wanna call em out lol.
a few of them aren't on the site anymore but yeah @bobalife @genie @mandyfire @queenofcardio @nothing-pikachu aka my first ex lol.
Then there's people irl that have also helped me lots like my parents, my two sisters, my one guy friend i poured my heart and soul out to a couple years ago, my two therapists i saw throughout my life. the two cats i had patches and Jack rip to them both.
I'm just incredibly blessed to have known all of these people in my life. some of which i don't even talk to anymore but they were here during times i needed them.
A lot of history in this post im realizing lol.
@Still-alive you're one of the most authentic people I know. So smooth , appreciate you 😊
@queenofcardio aw thank you! 😊
Yeah me too. I think that troll just got to her and she had to bail. Don’t blame her 😔
@bobalife @queenofcardio @7Phoenix7

@queenofcardio :) yes!
@Still-alive thanks for sharing with us and being so kind! I think we're happy for you on finding yourself again :)
@Still-alive Aw thanks friend, I appreciate that a lot! ☺️
@Still-alive boba tea does sound good right now 😂😂😂 then again, everyday is always tea time hehe
Honey, at my age there's not a whole lot of time left to reinvent myself.😂
But I do believe that I am confident with whatever comes up in my life. I made good solid decisions and they are working out just fine.
I'll let you know if the ceiling falls down. Okay?👍🏼
Hell, if I don't know who I am at this point I never will, LOL.
Yeah, I've known who and what I am since my early 20's. But, I've made peace with my flaws and decisions in life. I can live with who I am and what I've done and my reasons for all of it.
People, mainly women, sometimes see my quiet as confidence. I'm comfortable in not needing to fill the silence with noise. Women seem to pick up on that a lot. Men seem triggered or scared by it.
I'm confident but I'll never stop growing. It's a cliche but that's when you really die am I right?
I am very confident, but you should always strive to do even better in life.
I'm making progress in this area but definitely not there yet. It's easy for me to fall into being who and what people around me expect, want or need me to be rather than truly being myself, to the point that I'm intentionally learning what it looks like to be myself after far too long a time of having lost myself to the needs of those around me
I am confident but not especially ambitious because I am lazy I think. That's a part of me I WISH there could be a medication for.
Very comfortable with who I am and proud of my character (my views, interests, sense of humor, goals, and everything that makes me, me). But not confident about where I am in life and that affects my insecurity tremendously.
I know who I am. I'm still figuring the world out. Or more to the point my place in it. I trust that God will put me where I need to be or where I'm needed.
You know who you are but not fully confident yet… you will get there
Where did you get "I'm not confident" from that? I just simply meant that the world is not consistent. I'm confident in who I am but the world is built to test you. That will never change. Anyone who acts like they have it all figured out is just a fool.
Ah okay, I see your point now… When I read “still figuring the world out,” I assumed you meant yourself. But you’re right… knowing who you are and figuring out how to move through the world are two different things.
👍👍👍
Mostly confident but still growing because no one is perfect, the older you become the better ways you find to live your life socially, in a relationship and everywhere else...
Ofc only if you try to...
I am confident that I can always be perfectly me even if being me isn't perfect. 😊
I'm confident in who I am but also open to learning new things from others as a "student of life."
Who I am now will eventually change and I’m confident in knowing that lol
Very confident but I'm always finding ways to improve in different areas of my life.
In some ways yes, but no one is confident in every single aspect of life. We all have insecurities
Im definitely confident in who i am. I've worked hard to get to where I am in live. I've sacrificed a lot now that im here im going to enjoy it im just missing one thing and when I get that my life will be perfect
Mostly confident but willing to admit there is always room for improvement.
I'm completely confident in myself as I am what I am.
It is getting better with age but still a work in progress
We are ALways refiguring who we are at any given point in time.
Very confident.
I know who I am. I understand and accept my good, bad and ugly and I don't give af.
I'm the same person I was 30 years ago, just older, fatter, and less stupid
I used to be super confident, i need to find it again.
Of course…
I myself am sure of this. Believe me, I will be even more sure tomorrow.
i am confident that I am still a work in progress
Super confident
Both. The road continues..
Not always but trying
I'm too shy and lack self-confidence.
The latter.
