very much so...

but that's been after a life time of introspection, effort and gradual progress, especially during the last 16 years of my life...

and it comes from both, being confident with my strengths, virtues, advantages and good and great things about (and the people I have in my life which is vital) as well as being quite aware of my flaws, shortcomings, vulnerabilities, areas of improvement and weaknesses...

my sense of confidence do not come from any idea of superiority but a sense of balance that I've managed to achieve and for the most part, I've been able to keep like that, well balanced, at last...

At age 67, I have changed everything about myself that I ever thought needed changing, and what is left at this point meets my standards for being good (but not perfect.)

I'm a work in progress. I often talk down to myself (abilities and looks); the consequence of my attitude limits good possibilities/missed opportunities. The crux of it comes from how I imagined my life at 35 and not achieving all of it; I then get sucked into an “im not good enough”, “it’s too late”, or “I suck” mind game.

I like what Cynicaldreamer said and have taken the exact same approach to “doing me.”

Not very confident at all. My self esteem is atrocious, especially when it comes to my appearance. I can honestly admit that because I know I need to work on it.

That's why I'm actively trying to improve it: from exercising regularly and getting my diet back in shape, to focusing on me, rather than what others think of me.

Very. I’m so confident- my greatest battle is my own mind in deciding what I want SOMETIMES, and probably falling asleep and cat-napping all the time. 😂
