How confident are you in yourself?

It depends on the category. When it comes to academics I usually am pretty confident in my ability to do just fine on assignments, provided that I have given myself enough time. When it comes to work, in any job I’ve had, I give it my all and I try to go above and beyond, and my bosses usually recognize this and praise me; in work, I feel confident. Socially, it really depends who I’m around. I’m not confident around everyone, but I am more confident around people who know me better. I’m generally pretty confident around my own boyfriend who loves me and every part of me as it is; although I feel somewhat insecure about my body, I know that he is totally happy with me how I am, and always makes sure to verbally remind me even if I never ask for it. I appreciate him a lot.

Im not really scared of any human being or fearful of social rejection but I don’t heave total confidence in my abilities or life skills so I can come off as defeated in social situations, I think that is due to professional insecurity and identity issues, that I don’t feel legit cause I’m self employed and do not have a graduate degree.

Of course I am an 11/11... and I am that confident in myself, my capabilities and abilities, all of the things I am good at and can be/get good at

and I also know my limits, my flaws, my shortcomings... and I can always see and accept those with the same confidence... lmao

if I can't, if I don't know... if I am not able, I will very confidently just be like "NOPE"

and that is not being cocky, that's being assertive and sure of one-self... lol

Others definitely have more confidence in me, than I do in myself.

invariably a confident person is not sitting on the bathroom, shower floor with red wet stuff around them lol.

Depression and PTSD, can really kick your confidence around, I can and do come over as confident, however it’s often the bravado of a condemned man.

As @Smashingdoozy says you have to fake it.

Pretty confident overall, but I guess it just varies as to what skill or attribute or task capabilities are in question. Certain things I’m stronger at, other things I’m weaker at, and I like to think I have a fairly accurate self-perception of those strengths and weaknesses.

Confidence is "a feeling of self-assurance arising from one's appreciation of one's own abilities or qualities."

Does this mean a person who is confident in themselves spends a lot of time giving gratitude and appreciation for one's qualities and behaviors? I feel good about myself but I don't spend a lot of time giving gratitude for myself. I don't know anyone who does. What is your definition of "Confidence?"

I always liked myself, or at least accepted myself for who I was. So in that sense, I was/am confident. I was eager to try new things and push my limits. I also learn from my experiences.

When I look back at my youth, a lot of my confidence was due to the fact that I was too naive to think "That's impossible." LOL

I never felt the need to put on airs or act like an alpha douche bag. I was confident but not phony, arrogant or pretentious.

I would say I about 85-95% confident in myself. I am at a stage that I have survuved a lot of trials and tribulations so I am really happy with myself about that.
