I'm so sick of people being happy with shit that sucks. Grow a pair of balls and try your best. I feel like everyone is so afraid of failure that they never try so that when nothing in their life is special, they can tell themselves they're capable but never put their money where their mind is.

The last few months I've been surrounded by people who are so full of shit and think they're better than everyone. But they live in mediocrity, they aren't proud of anything, they aren't trying to grow or get better.

There's this girl I'm friends with. She has had all these problems in her life. She was upset because she got a degree and spent years working at a liquor store. We were naked in her bed last summer when I told her you need to find a man who respects you openly, you gotta lose the one who won't let you go. You need to take that degree, flip it off and shove it in as many peoples faces as possible. You need to take your art and show it to people and if you're not happy with it, find out why.

She found an amazing guy who she's compatible with, she's got a job at a startup that contracts with space or something, she goes to these artist events and sells her work twice a month.

I'm more proud to have her as a friend than half the "fin-tech" bros and I have more respect for her than some people I know who own bullshit businesses.

Anybody can do anything they commit themselves to. So why is everyone living their life like it's worth going home every night and doing drugs by yourself, producing a product in your business you're not happy with and not watching your kids grow up over it because of ego?

Took her 6 months to get her life totally turned around. With NO CAR. NO MONEY! She's visibly happier now. Why can't everyone be like that... NO BALLS!!
