Incredible that I start writing my answer before Abby does it. Perhaps I can finish my text before she realizes that I am ahead of her 🤣
Yes, I do consider myself as independent. I moved out of my parents' place at age 18 and moved into my place (actually my granddad's place) off campus. That gives me a certain advantage over others that have to share rooms and a kitchen and bathroom with roommates (isn't it so Abby?)
The downside to it is that I have to cook myself and don't have slaves for that.
I am lucky to have great parents and grandparents that trust me to live a decent life.

I think I'm independent because I take care of my own decisions, responsibilities, and daily needs. I'm okay with making decisions and dealing with problems. I still like getting help when I need it. Independence, to me, doesn't mean being alone. It means being confident and self-reliant and keeping important relationships with other people in your life.
