-I'm very independent
-I dont like relying on others because others can disappoint you when they don't or just can't follow through.
- I love being independent because I've always been able to get everything I've wanted , when I've wanted it , and never had to wait on others

Very independent, relying on others makes you a slave to their power and control. They can blackmail you for things you may not want to actually do, then call it freedom of choice. You can still chose not to but the consequences are dire.

I know someone who is dependent on the government and I laugh at her, cause she will literally say, she is independent but the government needs to stay out of how she spends her government money, just give her the money and let her make her own choices.

Like uh, that isn't independent.

independent. Traumatic childhood and then further to have traumatic events in the workplace forced me into adopting hyper independence. Working on it now but taking it a day at a time.

Hahaha, yeah, there is nothing like making your own choices, spending your own money and getting whatever you want without requiring anybodies approval or permission or having to tell someone. And the cherry on the top is watching others having a personal problem with that and throwing a fit 😁😂

Being a slave/puppet/dependent sucks! Nothing beats being autonomous.

It really depends on the situation indepedent people can tend to be good at getting things done but equally good at pushing people away whilst dependent people can have better people skills and thats the environment they enjoy but not be as forward thinking for themself

I have seen both sides and by my experience independent is waaaay better...

Your happiness or destiny of life is not dependent on anyone. You are the sole artist of your future.

Half and Half. I dont like to drive or cook so I let others take care of that, but i know enough in case of emergency. So im dependent in that sense. But I’m independent for everything else
