A woman will want to be strong and independent while simultaneously being dependent on the ones you wish to be independent from? You know spend his money and keep the money they earn.
Independent does not mean bossy. Independent also doesn't mean that you can't accept anything from anyone. My husband says that I'm independent, and he's the breadwinner. If I were "dependant", then without him I wouldn't be able to support myself. But since that is not the case, then by definition of the word I am independent.
From what I've seen, there are very few people on earth who like an adult who is incapable of taking care of themselves.
