If emotional closure feels real even without understanding, are we slowly replacing truth seeking with comfort based perception of reality?

You can make every human experience feel emotionally complete the moment it happens.. Loss, failure, awkward moments, everything just feels resolved internally, even if nothing is actually understood.

At first, it sounds kinda good tbh.
People stop spiraling, stop overthinking, move on faster. But then, I keep thinking..

if something feels “fine,” most people probably won’t look any deeper than that anymore. Like the feeling becomes proof enough, even if nothing was actually figured out.

Do you activate it?

And if emotional relief starts replacing the need to actually understand what happened, are we becoming more stable as humans or just less willing to question whether anything was ever truly resolved at all?
