What do you tell someone who no longer believes their reality is real?

Please get professional help NOW. I have been there and have a very happy, well balanced life now. You're on a destructive path. The world is a very difficult place to be in right now, which makes what you are feeling even more difficult. Getting the help we need when we need it shows strength, not weakness. So, please be strong enough to do that. Also, Surround yourself with supportive people. I wish you well and will pray for your success. You can do this.

Thank you very much for your thoughtful words. I’m glad you got past it, but I like it like this. Everything is making sense now. All I care about is a diagnosis. I’ve contacted my psychiatrist and am waiting for a reply.

Everyone’s reality is based on their individual perception of it, that’s not entirely surprising. I can’t say I’ve ever been in a place where I thought that the reality I perceived was somehow false so I can’t say much to change that view. I think a better question is what is your intention for yourself now that you believe your reality is a lie?

No, I can’t say I agree because I quite enjoy my life. If your issue is fear, why not surrender to it?

Even if it is not real, the impact you have is real, and the impact others have on you is real. Still try to be kind to others and to yourself. Value people and experiences that bring you peace and joy, and try to avoid those that bring you pain and stress.

Thanks for your kind caring words. I’m still going to continue to live my life like always. I just don’t know if it’s a powerful dream or what. In my distorted eyes nothing matters anymore.
