I saw a boat for sale. It was one I had been looking at for a while. It was a demo model and it was set up with all the bells and whistles and it had exactly the same motor that I wanted. This boat was used for the company catalog for that year so it could not be sold as new. They were offering a significant discount and I probably could have beat them down a little more. I had the cash and could have just written a check for the full amount.
My family was going through a lot of turmoil and I figured if I bought the boat I really would not have had any time to use it.
Now I am sort of glad I did not buy it.
