But honestly, have you ever thought about it differently? 🤔
If we really only live once, shouldn’t that mean something else entirely?
Shouldn’t it mean we shouldn’t just chase pleasure or instant fun but instead, make every single moment meaningful, valuable, and worth remembering?
Because here is the biggest irony of today’s world:
Everyone loves saying 'Life is short' and 'You only live once' yet most people use that as an excuse to waste time, to be reckless, to do things that have no real worth, to hurt others, or to live shallow, empty lives.
We say life is precious and rare but we actually treat it like it’s endless, or like it’s something cheap to just throw away on meaningless things.
We claim we value time yet we spend most of it on noise, drama, temporary fun, and things that add absolutely no value to us or anyone else.
Think about it:
>>Time never flows backward.
>>Not a single second can ever be turned back or repeated.
>>Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever.
So really, if you truly believe life only happens once why would you spend it on anything less than something beautiful, meaningful, and truly valuable?
Is just 'enjoying' enough or should we aim for something deeper?
