Whoever this Anna Chapman is, if she is a US citizen, then she did a smart move marrying a British citizen in order to obtain the British citizenship and getting rid of her US passport in favor of a much better and safer British passport that will open her more doors than a US passport ever will and that is much less problematic to own.

Fortunately, a lot of US citizens are seriously considering relinquishing their US citizenship as they feel insecure abroad with such a conflicting passport and if that Anna Chapman did make the math, then congratulations to her for taking that step.

Actually she is Russian, and her steps were quite in a reverse order to what your are saying although equally smart as you are saying too. First she moved to Britain, and then to the USA not from the US to Britain. And she was convicted of espionage in the US! She now enjoys celebrity status in Russia. She was swapped with other prisoners held in Russia. She is extremely beautiful which is why she is a celebrity really. The media even dubbed her spy 90-60-90 with reference to her ideal body size.
