It probably has something to do with toxic positivity in this website's context. "Look at me, i am capable of smiling even when i harm myself!"
People are just too damn out of their hearts and trying to compensate their inability to feel using acceptance of intellectual absurdity.
No. Laughing when hurt does not do anything good.
Here's a prime example of my last interaction with a hard core short dyed hair and choker fishnet on here:
I really have no idea , but I watched a Docco about some home schooling , tree hugging , smelly gypsies , living off the grid..
They looked unclean with unkept hair and smelly , already having big problems with their children.
Alternative = I think , unkept , smelly , lots of hair..
Not my kind of people , dressed in dark colours.
It is living close enough to see the mainstream clearly, but far enough away that people treat you as a curiosity, an outlier, or a challenge to the norm. I wouldn't want it any other way.
I'll have to jump into my time couch and travel back to 1995! BRB..
Agree with @Nikki1989
What the hell does that even mean
It's something else.
No idea.
