Do You Still Receive My Questions In Your Notifications?

One of my favorite followers (for 5 years) told me that he isn't receiving my questions lately.
I have noticed that members that I have been communicating a lot with (some for years) aren't coming to my notifications lately, but people who I have never heard of are in my notifications.🤷🏼‍♀️
I asked GaG about this but as usual I didn't receive any reply.
I don't understand why.

I don't follow you, so I don't get them. I would be happy to if you want me to. I have enjoyed the questions that I have found of yours. You seem like a nice person and not some of these accounts always asking gross questions.

I do know there is a setting I found when I was tinkering with mine that can turn that on or off. Maybe this person turned that off, especially if they follow a lot of people.

No I don't receive notifications to your questions. If so, rarely.
I usually see them, sometimes days later, when scrolling through my feed.
