The gender difference between height is 5 inches/13cm, how tall would you be as the opposite gender?

Lmao, my tall ass might be as tall as 6'3 but then again my brother is 5'4 so I could be as short as 5'5 going by your metrics. Height is just a funny thing.

My dad was like 5'6ish so it's possible to just be his height or I could end up the same height I am now at 5'10. Who knows?

Siblings inherit different genes.
I made it clear this rule only applies individually. So as a guy you would be 6'3", no other height.

Not true, but you do you. Familial genes are a good predictor of what you may look like or things like height. If my dad is 5'6, my brother 5'4 and my other brother is 5'10 then there is a great chance I will end up in that range. Seriously doubt I would make it all the way up to 6'3. I think I have ONE cousin who is even over 6 ft tall. The likelihood isn't great I would be joining him.

Women finish puberty earlier, therefore growth stops earlier.
Had you been a guy you would have continued to grow for a longer time and would eventually reach another 5", simple as that.

Yeah it's an AVERAGE, not a hard and fast rule that I will automatically be 5 inches taller. I could end up 7 inches taller or 1 inch taller. I COULD end up shorter based on family history. I don't even know how I got this tall to begin with.

Like i said, I could end up anywhere between 5'5 or 6'3 just depending on how my genetics hit me using the 5 inch thing plus genetics.

The "5 inch thing" is the norm that happens to most people.
Stastically speaking, if you didn't grow right on the norm, the difference would still be just bit outside the norm, so 4.5 inch to 5.5inch.
Or perhaps 4 to 6 inches taller.
1 inches taller is unrealistic,7 inches taller also unrealistic but more likely.

There is no way you would end up
shorter as a guy than you are a woman, no way, unless you had some sort of rare disease.

We dont know what would happen because nobody has ever been able to change their biology to end up like that. So, yes way, it COULD happen. We just don't know.

It's well established that girls finish puberty earlier and boys continue to grow for a few years after.
Saying you would be shorter as a man would be a genetic abnormality, it's like saying your voice would be higher as a man, it just doesn't happen.
It would be as likely as being born with 2 penises or two vaginas.

Yes we develop faster and boys take longer to grow but that doesn't always mean they will grow to a specific height. It's why it's called an average, not a certainty.

If you and your brother were the opposite gender you still would be 5 inches taller than you are now and he 5 inches shorter.

It's not the exact same genetics, but it's more relevant than a worldwide average. Our 7 inch difference would turn into 3 based on this, and I find that less likely.
