Have you ever been in a car accident and what happened?

Technically 3 but none were my fault.

The first one i was at a red light and the car in front of me tried to beat the light. Failed. Instead of finishing the turn though, they backed their car up and hit my front bumper.

The second one was while I was at work. I was in a golf cart and a truck came speeding as I came around the corner. It hit me and I was knocked out of the golf cart and hit a wall. I was scared but physically OK for the most part.

The third one I wasn't even driving. My wife took a turn too fast on a gravel road and lost control of the car. She hit a tree which one of the thicker branches came through the windshield and nearly hit/pierced me in the face. Also walked away from that one after being dazed for a bit.

I've been really lucky not to have any serious injuries given two of those.

The second and third accidents were really terrifying. You were really lucky. I hope you never experience anything like that again.

And for the record, my wife is a terrible driver. She speeds, has bad driving habits and has been in double digit accidents including totaling some of her cars.

Still, she insists on driving and making me the "passenger princess" as she calls it. Mostly because I have a terrible sense of direction. Lol

I was sued by a lady 10 years ago, and she ended up having to pay me and my lawyers' fees because it was her fault.

Hurt my neck but didn't go to the hospital right away that night. It was whiplash from being rear-ended. My trunk was caved in, and I had two flat tires. The only thing wrong with her car was that her headlights were broken.

I'm glad you didn't suffer a more serious injury. She hit you from behind and didn't even admit her fault? That's really interesting. How did your car get so much damage while the other woman's car only sustained a broken headlight?
