Do you ever look up old classmates to see how their lives turned out?

Do you look at your yearbook and the classmates you went to school with, and found out things about them later, either from friends, high school and college reunions, the internet?

I should have been a detective. I have found some of my classmates on search engines, and where they are now. Some have sadly died young. :(. But it's something that has always interested me, because I'm just being nosy and seeing how everyone turned out.

I'm still close with some friends from school days and they are also in touch with other classmates we had... and those, with some more so, eventually... I do hear about almost everyone through them, lmao

so, it's rare or very few, the ones we never heard back again

I gave that up about 10 years ago. I'm in touch with one person from my high school days, that's it.

I used to be in touch with 4 high school friends when I found them on Facebook, when I was a member. It was great to see them in NYC (I was in NJ). After we met they came to NJ and I took them all over where I lived. None of them knew how to drive (Neither did I when I lived there). It was a lot of fun, we talked about lots of memories. Three still live in NY and one is now in Florida. I found out so many things from them (about other classmates). One of our graduates is a politician, for example, and ran for Senator in NY, but he didn't get it. And there was one guy who became an actor, he is well known in movies.

Who's the actor? Where did you go to school in NY?

I went to Seward Park HS in Manhattan. The actor’s name is Luis Hector Guzman. He’s short, chubby and is very likable and funny. He goes by Luis Guzman. Carlitos Way with Al Pacino; Anger Management with Jack Nicolson and Adam Sandler; Cleaner, with Samuel Jackson and Eve Mendez, and Journey to the center of the Earth 2,, to name a few. Interestingly, my brother found his picture in my yearbook, and said “Holy, Amy graduated with an actor!” He and my sister would see him in the neighborhood but I don’t remember him at all.

PS- If you know who Tony Curtis is (Jamie Curtis's father), Jerry Stiller, Walter Matthau and Zero Mostel (Fiddler on the Roof), they all graduated from the same HS.

I see. Very cool !!! :) I know Guzman. He's Gomez on Wednesday. Not the best choice in my opinion, but he's a very good actor nonetheless.

Yes, I saw that too. I think his best role was in Anger Management, very funny. He's. good actor, yes. Many people confuse him with the bad guy in Ghost Story (with Demi Moore, the late Patrick Swayze).

Yeah. Sometimes I’ll randomly think of someone and look them up. Sometimes I find them, sometimes I don’t.
