The reason why I am asking is because it's my birthday 🎂🎉 and I received a Happy Birthday message with a cute GIF - wishing me a Happy Day.

I met my friend Janet when she was 12 and I was 14. We've been friends all of our lives. We don't live close together, but it's still nice that they remembered me.🙂

There are a few but, none of them talk with me very much. And, when they do, they never stick around to finish the conversation! I went to school with my cousin, Dan, who lived 3 doors away from me and, he contacted me via FB last month around my b-day and started chatting me up. After about a 20:00 conversation, I sent my response to a question he asked, figuring I'd hear back from him about it and got absolutely no response at all!! I STILL haven't heard from him to this day!! What the fuck? You can't even TELL me you're gonna go or even say goodbye?
For the most part, I don't really have any friends. Mostly just people I know and SOMETIMES, on very rare occasions, converse with for a few minutes. I was almost always alone growing up and am still very much alone! Over the past 30 years, the only friends I DID have were people I met online and have never met in person and only converse with every great once in a while on the other end of a very long stretch of wires or fiber optics.

I sill have 2 friends from the old neighborhood. One has moved away but the other lives in the next town and we still see each other. My best friend since second grade died two years or else we would still be friends too.

the "longest time friend" and closest friend, would be from middle-school days, we met at age 12 or so... and then yes, we have two more friends in common from high-school days and we have known each other since age 16... we all still great friends today

there also a few childhood friends, one of them I know since age 3... while we're not really that close we're still very good friends and every time we see each other again is like we've been hanging out forever... lol

I have one high school friend left that I'm in touch with. He was my best friend when I was in my 20s.
We live a good 450 miles apart and haven't seen each other in years but we chat on the phone fairly regularly. He said I'm the only one left who remembers all the crazy stuff we did back in the day.

Not unless you have a breakup but yeah I still have friends for my high school days we don't see each other as much as we used to but I have some very good close friends yes I've had a lot die pass away but yes I still have many
