Yes!! I am still very good friends with a group of people. Some from university and others from secondary school. One goes back all the way to primary. She is my best friend. Sadly, she moved away after university. We only get to talk on the phone and FaceTime.

I do get to visit her once a year. This last year I was not able to. There has just been so much going on for myself that it wasn’t possible to get together. We would typically switch each year. I would go to see her and then she would come to stay with me the next year. Occasionally, we would meet somewhere fun and stay together. That all changes when you get engaged.

The best news though is…. she is HERE with me for my wedding! She came the same time my family arrived. So, I have had sooo much time to catch up and see her again.

The rest of my really good friends come next week and only stay for a little while over the day for our wedding. It is, after all, a big ask to come all this way. So, yes, I very much still have friends from school and see most of them regularly!

Awww that is heart warming! You must be really close for them to all make a trip like that and it must be so nice being able to see them.

There is a group of us that are indeed very close. Most are in relationships or married, so it is nice to get together as couples. All of them, except my best friend, live in my area. We try to meet up once a month. Even that can be tough with everyone having jobs, families in some cases and life in general. We make it happen though 🙂

I completely get that. I have lost touch with so many friends and it is really sad. Maybe I should make an effort to get together at least every so often.

Try once a year. It really is worth the effort. Plus, it is always something to get excited about, plan and have to look forward to!

I have two school friends on social media and a few accessible to me through connections and one I still text on the regular. I also have a bunch of university connections on social media - over a hundred. These people are also accessible through churches and church friends.

Yes I am still friends with old classmates. And made new connections with old classmates. It's kind of fun chit chatting about things in the past and what we're doing today. What are professions are. One classmate he's a professional musician he played back up for Willie Nelson years ago.

Both middle and high school yes. Not a huge number but yes. Interestingly, the middle school people are better, closer friends than the high school ones.

I don’t have contact with anyone from middle school. Though, my family moved and I lost contact with them at that point.

@PrettyPriya 😒 my friends from school are anywhere from like 5’2” to 6’4”. I have friends from little people events I still am in contact with that are shorter than me, though.

A few people. Most of them have nothing to do with me but, when we DO bump into each other, in most cases, we're all buddy/buddy. One guy I even got to join my band on guitar for a while.

Yes, I am still friends with a guy I went to high school with, the best man at my wedding, and I at his. We're miles apart but still keep in touch.
