One thing that helped me become less of an asshole and more personable was getting into the habit of whenever I meet someone, I look for things I like about them and feed into it as much as possible.

All the time. I’m an optimist and super positive. I bring some of that to others. It’s so easy to make other people happy.
I also believe having a positive attitude often brings positive results/energy…. Life has a much better outlook..

Yes. By and large, people mean well and are doing the best they can. Rarely do you understand the pressures and motivations for their actions.

In reality that means I am regularly let down. I still think that's a better outcome.
