Just had torrential rain maybe 10 days ago. It was that kind where people just pull over and stop driving due to the lack of visibility.

I was actually stoked though, I just bought a new Ford Bronco a couple months ago and it’s got all the bells and whistles, including “Adaptive Cruise Control.” If you’re unfamiliar with it like I was, it’s basically cruise control but it adjusts the speed automatically to maintain a desired distance between you and the car in front of you. Didn’t even know that was a thing, and two months in, I don’t know how I ever lived without it, lmao.

Anyway, I was able to keep driving and maintain a decent speed (definitely took a little off it so I wouldn’t risk hydroplaning though), blind as a bat with the rain, surrounded by idiots who don’t have their headlights and taillights on to make themselves more visible, and I was just cruising and letting the car brake for me. I did it all cautiously and ready to take over control, since I’m not used to it, but it was pretty sweet just continuing on my way through inclement weather without worrying about the near-zero visibility. I don’t know if I’d be looking to push it too much, but it’s a cool feature to have for those moments👍

Oh we get nasty storms this time of year where I live usually once a week. We had a recent one that pretty much rolled across the entire top half of the state, including where I live. It was a bad one and caused some flooding.

We don't get that often because of the hilly terrain makes it run off, so that we had flooding at all tells you how much it rained in a day. Luckily, the worst part of it was at night when most people were home.

This morning actually! We just had a wild storm come through and downpour. There are a bunch of branches down in my yard and our patio furniture cushions were all over the yard too.
We also had a storm yesterday and Sunday as well…. so my lawn is desperately in need of mowing.
