Say a relative, close friend or lover committed a capital crime. However, the evidence is a little questionable. You can confess to the crime to get them off the hook, but there’s no way to counter the evidence to subsequently appeal and free yourself as well.
Who in your life, if anyone, would you be willing to go to prison for the rest of your life to protect?
