No, I’ve never actually been banned from a restaurant. I’ve had a few awkward experiences where the service was terrible or there was a misunderstanding with the staff, but nothing serious enough to get me banned.

I think most restaurant bans probably happen after an argument, repeated bad behavior, or someone getting a little too carried away after drinking. I’d rather just leave and not go back than turn a small disagreement into a big scene.

That said, I’ve definitely had moments where I thought, “Yeah, I’m probably never coming back here again,” even though the restaurant never officially banned me.
