I think it depends on who it is. Both my parents work and my brother is still in high school. If I send them a text during the day, I am waiting until afternoon to get a reply or even the evening.

If it is a friend at college, I usually get a reply in an hour or so. Again it depends on their class schedule. I am kinda of the same way. I reply as soon as I have the time but that is sometimes a while depending on the day.
