What Is The Best Excuse You Have Heard, Or Perhaps You Have Some Excuses Of Your Own?

Today I was waiting for a train but the train was late.

On the notice board the reason for the delay was given, because the previous train was late.

I think this is the best excuse the rail companies have ever given for a train being late, or perhaps the worst excuse.

Have you heard a better excuse it can be on any subject?
