I do love him and wouldn't mind if he was less muscular by all means. I kinda do mind if he is ruining his body though.
I'm certainly going to talk to him about it, but if he has no aspirations to change, do you think it's overreacting to break up?
There's absolutely nothing wrong with taking steroids as long as he does it safely (keeping cycles short, dosages under control, and following proper post cycle therapy to restart natural testosterone production upon cessation). Steroids don't make penises shrink either, they cause a temporary reduction in testicle size simply because the testicles are no longer responsible for manufacturing testosterone. They rebound in size between cycles when they being to make testosterone again. Steroids are only illegal because a lot of dumb people don't know how to use them safely. Just do the proper research on the stuff and you'll find out that they aren't so bad as the media makes them out to be. I'm a 6'2" 220 lb guy with ~9% body fat, and I've never used steroids before but I have considered it. Feel free to look around on websites for bodybuilding enthusiasts to hear these same things I'm saying from guys who have actually taken roids and know what they're talking about. People use supplements in idiotic ways to transform their body, and its the reason that supplements like ephedrine are now illegal. Ephedrine is still legally sold in the US as a bronchodilator (brand names Bronkaid and Primatine) but it can't be marketed as a weight loss drug because fat, lazy Americans were taking ridiculous amounts of the stuff and dying, rather than tweaking their diets. I think I'm ranting now, so I'll go ahead and stop. Breaking up with him because he takes steroids would be a stupid move.
Is that true? If he uses it right, there won't be any sideeffects in the long term? No depression, high blood pressure, cancer or kideny/liver issues?
If that was the case. I wouldn't want to break u? with him. I don't know if he is using them right, but I do know he is usimg them in cycles
My boyfriend also takes them and says he's going to take them for the rest of his life. (He lied and tried to tell me he was taking hormones, but I did some research and figured it out). He also considers himself to be clean, but I'm not sure. I just found out about this morning and told him that as long as he can prove to me he's doing it in a healthy manner then I'd be OK with it, but it changes his mood and he says it's given him a God complex which I find silly. Should I be worried?
The thing is that since the very moment he gonna stop taking those supplements his body will deteriorate like a sheet of paper thrown in flames.
I'm not sure is it a good-enough reason for you to break-up, I mean - he didn't cheat or lie.. well, if we consider keeping important information in silence it kinda counts as a lie tho..
And this is the moment where the illusion of an average male being "confident" shatters.
As the main reason - the thing which makes guys wanting to get more muscles is not because they want to be stronger, no.
It's because they want to look attractive to women.

Break up with him. You'll be doing him a favor.
No, but really. There is nothing wrong with this if he is doing it correctly. Steroids are the least understood drug by a majority of people. Ask him about it (in a kind way), he will most likely be more then happy to share the research he has done before starting a cycle.
would you like it if your boyfriend broke up with you because you put make up on? tell him to switch to taking protein and creatine, and other that aren't going to harm him. so he doesn't have to rely on steroids.
of course I would mind, but that's different putting on make up doesn't come with heavy side effects
It comes with insecurity.
get a job sephora
I also don't think you can compare creatine to steroids.
Yeah, creatine is good and all, but steroids are just way, way more potent (and dangerous).
I'm not com pairing creatine to steroids
creatine is not steroids.
I'm not comparing creatine to steroids.
Welcome to reality.
I assume most actors use steroids. Everyone always acts all impressed that such and such an actor bulked up for a given role, but in case people hadn't noticed, there's no olympic drug testing for actors.
well it's not unrealistic to look like that. I used to do competetive rowing and there were some guys that I grew up with, who for sure didn't take anything, but over the years became even more muscular than he is.
I met him a year ago and he already looked like he does now, so I never thought he got there by using meds
Those guys were pre-screened. By which I mean - they were competitive rowers partially because they put on muscle well.
he may have a greater body and muscles but a surely enough shrinking penis and testicles...not a good payoff honey. better start scouting another dude.
It's up to you really, He cheated to get his muscles so what? It's his body, he does what he wants to do.
Well I planned to stay with him for a while and taking steroids can cause depression, high blood pressure, cancer, kideny/liver issues and affect your immune system.
I just don't want him to die anytime soon
