Painful lump/bump on my butt cheek..?

First of its not a STD, I'm a virgin. But its painful only when I touch it or when I'm sitting. Its about the size of a gumball. Anyone know what my disgusting condition is? Or should I go to the doctors or should I wait it out? Thanks.

When it comes to abnormalities of the human body, asside from the basic cuts and scratches, common colds and fevers. it is best to go straight to the doctor. No STD I have heard of causes a large bump on the butt, and since you are a virgin, guess there is nothing to worry about there anyway. When I was 12, I had a problem...down there...not sure from what, or why, or how. But I was too afraid to go to the doctor, I waited 3 weeks, the condition got worse. Finally I showed my older brother, who told my mom, and took me to the doctor right away. When the doctor saw the problem, I immidiately had to have a shot in the head of my penis, my left testicle, and my butt, took horse size pills for 3 months and was out of school for 4 months. If I had gone a day or two later, they would have had to cut it off...dont wait to go to the doctor...go right away, trust me from experience.

p.s. it was a staff infection, apperently sometimes it jsut happens...no fun when your 12 and its on your penis

In case you missed it, the point was...don't wait till something gets REALLY BAD. If its something your worried about, get it checked out! Sitting on your hands about something like this only makes it worse.

Did you first notice it when you were last sweaty down there? It could be a sweat gland infection. If it begins migrating, it could be the beginning of hidradenitis supporativa. If it is that, get on top of that thing with sodium sulfacetemide immediately. If it spreads elsewhere, see a dermatologist.

HS will attack your vagina. It will also spread to your legs, then up to your chest and under your arms. Your perineum and legs will be especially vulnerable. HS likes high-friction areas of the body. If you shave your pubes, expect a lot of the nasty little things to show up.

I have HS, so I have to be very careful how I clean myself to make sure I don't spread it. Regular hygiene is imperative to not cultivate it. It will attack your sweat glands, remember that.

i had something similar on my armpit and it turned out to be a boil it was painful! my doc gave me antibiotics and I had to squeeze the pus out was the most disgusting thing ever, but it went away!

a boil starts out like a hard ball, but then turns softer and fluid like with a white dot on top, indicating there's accumulation of pus

but I don't know how the butt would have one because the butt is just a muscle with a layer of fat on it...there are no sebaceous glands or lymph nodes there...

basically, just have a doctor check it. and research online too.

Off topic cause I already posted my answer, more guys answered this then girls, and all the guys answered seriously with some type of insight or ways to get help. The one girl I ahve read that answered made some stupid comment...and girls think guys are the jerks lol

Go to the doctors. I have a lump in my stomach, and I was told it's a non cancerous fat tumor. I have to work out my stomach more to lose it.
