Why is he being so uncaring?

Me and my boyfriend have been dating for about a year and 6 months..recently he's been acting very different and uncaring and cold..just like he doesn't care..and I've asked him why and told him "if you don't wanna be with me let me know ill leave but don't sit there leading me on further and saying you love me and wanna marry me and be together yet act like a complete ass whenever you please"...hes honestly (no lies) told me "this is the best relationship I've ever been in you've helped me through so much been there for me and made me fall in love with you hard I don't no why I act the way I do but I don't no what id do if I was to lose u" so what does that mean? should I just leave him...or stick by his side? please help..im seriously needing any answer I can get :.(

this seems like it can be a number of things. If anything has changed in his routine, he could be stressed. If you've started to have him on a tighter leash, this can also diminish his feeling of manhood (he wants to be with you but he wants to CHOOSE to do so, not be compelled to do it -- the hard part is letting yourself go emotionally to trust that he will but trust me men have their equivalent difficulties in good relationships), it might also be that something has affected his brain chemistry recently like a new job or diet, etc.

Maybe he's just feeling confused about the relationship. And maybe you should take a step back and look at yourself for a second. Have you been doing anything recently that you shouldn't be, or maybe putting all your needs before his? You should just sit down with him, and really talk about all this. The relationship seems important to both of you, so you should really try and figure out together what the problem is, and see what both of you can do to fix it.

ive been the same..and its just he starts arguments over everything...and when I try to sit back and calmly tell him how I'm feeling and I even tell him I love him and make sure he knows its both of us that need to work on it..he gets so mad and always makes me feel like I've done something wrong..says I'm making him the bad guy and blaming it all on him..and I'm really not..i just feel so lost
