English help: What does ''dashy'' mean? If someone says you look dashy, is it a bad thing?

British people say this mostly. They say "dashing" not "dashy."
I means you look good, or stylish, or elegant. It means you have good taste in clothing.
Do you mean "dashing"? Or do you suspect that (s)he meant "dashing"? In that case, it means "Stylish or fashionable". As for "Dashy", I have no clue.
