How soon should you let a guy try your cooking?

Is it a bad idea to let him try your cooking too soon? he might take you for granted?

It's okay to cook for him right away, just don't do it all the time and basically bend to his every whim.

Be assertive, when you are cooking for him jokingly say that you can't wait to try his cooking. Gauge how he responds. If he becomes defensive about the idea and basically refuses to at least help in cooking, obviously this is what someone would say and do if they are going to take you for granted.

If he at least makes an effort then he won't be taking you for granted. Some people have a harder time with cooking than others, and it really depends on him. I have a natural ability to cook. I am very intuitive and create random food creations that taste good. Other people struggle just to boil water. If he honestly can't cook and has a hard time, maybe it would be okay to both do the cooking. Have him help with food prep, teach him a few things and you two can have fun together in the kitchen making a nice dinner. My boyfriend helps me all the time with stuff. He is a good cook himself, but we like to help each other in the kitchen. I think that is the healthy way to do things.

Get him involved in some way and then you won't feel like you are being taken for granted. If he starts to take you for granted, then be assertive and let him know that you are feeling that way. Don't hesitate to make your feelings known.

Cook for him later cause yeah, while you don't know him that well it'll be a bad idea. Make him feel special by doing it later!
