When someone asks you to rate their attractiveness, how do you typically respond?

...do you ever rate someone really low or really high?

...do you tend to avoid these questions altogether?

I don't like rating girls on the looks 1-10 when they ask because it can only end bad with them getting their feelings hurt if I'm honest... =| Realistically most girls are sub 5's... A lot of reasonably good looking women are 5-6. They are pretty common, but will get rated as 8's by a lot of people everywhere there are rating systems. They take no effort to get, many times they will do all the work. 7-8 are girls that are a little less common but still common enough to land with normal effort. A lot of people will tell them they are gorgeous and hot and rank them as 9's or 10's. Real 9-10's are working in industry (modeling/fashion/entertainment)... They are rare and I see/talk to them on occasion... From the one's I've met, I wouldn't say they were worth any effort though they expect a lot. =P

i made up a huge mathematical formula in high school that rated girls and my entire class of seniors used it, it was pretty dope and very accurate

1-3 I feel like...they're ugly and I like nothing, 4-6 I like their body but not their face, 7-8, I feel like they're sexy by media & society's def. but not my type. 9-10 DAMN you are SUPER ATTRACTIVE.

I try to rate someone exactly, how I feel on first glance.

I usually try to avoid these questions when they're from ugly people. :-/ I know that's rude.

I would feel too mean giving them anything below 4 and for me I wouldn't really give out a 10 because that would be like perfection. so my scale would be 4 below average, 5-6 average, 7-8 above average, 9 well above average. people's scales would vary a lot though, I'm sure some people would have no problem giving out a 1.

If they have the confidence to ask me to rate them then I will rate them honestly on what I think- I don't like to lie to make them feel better because I would expect them to extend the same to me.

Yes, in an ideal world that would be the way to do it, but people often want (and need) encouragement about the way they look because of deeply set insecurities. That's why they put themselves out there, not because they are confident but because they are seeking confidence.

I usually just give a number between one and 10. like you for example I'd give about a 6. you're cute enough that I would suck your d*ck but you're not cute enough that I would swallow.
