Why do guys like being called "Daddy"?

So earlier today I was joking around with my boyfriend and called him Daddy and he got like.. Totally turned on. And as much as I'm enjoying this, I couldn't help but wonder why.

  • That's because men are most attracted to women when they are in a position of powerlessness. A powerful man is a confident man that feels good about himself. As a daddy is a power figure, it makes him feel good.

That's the same reason why girls like rape fantasies. The thought of losing control to a powerful man turns on a lot of girls. It is normal.

  • I don't really get it either. Don't get me wrong I am totally into the "tie me up, tie me down, punish me I am your dirty little slut, dominance" thing but I find it very hard to call a guy "Daddy" in like a flirty sexual way. Could be because I did not have a father growing up (will brace myself for Daddy issue comments) but I find it strange.

  • It makes him feel totally and complete powerful over you. And power turns men on. Letting them be the dominant is the sexiest thing to them. This is very scary though to me. Wanting that power and control over another person. But that's why. Power is sexy if they have it.

  • I think it's a subconscious dominance thing. In almost all cultures (but not all families!), "Dad" is the master of the house. The big guy.

Personally I think it's harmless human nature. The closest girl analogy I can come up with is I always call my Girlfriend "princess". And she loves it. Not sure if it turns her on tho.

  • Daddy means head of the house, boss, pappi. Woman is submissive to daddy. Daddy takes care of all. you know, come to big daddy.

  • Well, imo I believe it because they like to be in charge and know that you believe or know that they are and they can handle whatever it is that needs to be taken care of or perversion.

  • I think it's not about the actual term "Daddy", but just the submissiveness that goes along with hearing a girl say it.

  • Don't like it, never been called it. Don't understand why it is used...

    Strange to me, a turnoff.

  • for me it's a taboo thing. not that I would be pretending she's my daughter but the fact that I can hear her call me Daddy would turn me on knowing it's a taboo subject.

  • I only reply to questions asked of me that begin with:

    Daddy,

    I have a question.

  • Because good girls obey what their daddies tell them to do. :)
