How do gold diggers operate?

I'm just curious, what are their tactics? I even left the anonymous option available so any women who have dug for gold can spill without being attacked.

I was best friends with a woman who was a gold differ for 3 months. I knew she was gold-digging this guy but this was a time where I was completely socially inept, and I wanted to know how people worked, so I got to see all of her text messages.

One of her key tactics, one which I unfortunately gave her the idea for, is to operate like a casino.



For every $500 he would spend on her, she bought him $70 worth of gifts which convinced him that it was mutual. And it made her feel less guilty.

Occasionally, he would offer to buy her something and she declined and paid for it herself.

Why? Because doubt operates in a push and pull way. The guy who is getting gold dug may have a second of doubt, which can be erased by a tiny little action such as giving him a gift (albeit one much less expensive than he gave her). And the guy who doesn't want to believe the truth can use this to justify his behavior of being used.

Many guys are desperate and will pay all the free income they have to be with a girl (even if its an artificial relationship). Because their emotions take over their logic and judgment.

But it's the guy who can open the door for this buy offering her gifts. Gold diggers never force the guys to buy her gifts. It's the guys choice and he can close the door at anytime.

In addition to what tadpole talked about, which was a woman "faking" being into the relationship when she was just using the guy for money, there's also the overt gold-digger, which we usually call the "Sugar-Daddy/Sugar-Baby" relationship. That's when a girl openly agrees to trade sex and some aspects of a relationship for gifts and "support" (him paying her bills) and occasionally outright cash. The difference in this case is that there is no deception.

But even in a more traditional case, sometimes guys might realize that they're being used for their money, but they are either so lonely and happy to have a woman, or they rationalize that they could never get a woman as "hot"/"sexy"/'slutty" as this girl that it's worth the money to keep her around. Many guys are happy to get "played" as long as they get what they want too. At least for a while.

i would think they only date rich and generous people so they can live in the lap of luxuary without having to pay for it. And I think most of them loves the money not the person, they might love the person for being their cash cow but love love.

Well I can tell you when it comes to online dating gold diggers online will go from guy to guy taking free dinner dates and then bai and never speak to that person ever againl. This is why I don't do anything past coffee when it comes to meeting up for the first time from the internet. Online it's easy for them because the guys think the girl is looking for a relationship but has no intention of going past the first date at all.
