Don't make the first move..I think Filipinos love shy girls. Don't hang out with other guys. Hanging out with guys so much is really a turn-off! Even for Filipinas, they will think that you're a flirt) . But if you're the tomboyish type, it's different. Girls who play DOTA and other computer games is considered "ASTIG!" (astig means cool) You should not let him see that you worry too much about your physical appearance. Filipinos love simple girls. BE YOURSELF. But you know, not all Filipinos are like that. WHO WOULD GIVE HIS/HER VIRGINITY BEFORE MARRIAGE?! I'm not saying that they're all like this. But it's the general characteristics if Filipinos. I'm a Filipina by the way. My wife is a Filipina and she was a virgin when we were married, so I know it's a valued/cherished thing in the Phils. It was not, however, a factor in my decision to date her. If she'd had sex with others before she met me, I still would've loved her just as much. This is one of the bigger cultural gulfs between the Phils and the US; nowadays premarital sex is almost a given, and it's no longer a source of shame to be identified as a non-virgin.

hehe well I certainly can share your sentiment, being that Filipinas are still among my fave girls. So I definitely understand your desire for a handsome Filipino.

Lots of Filipino guys are already finding white girls pretty, like you are. In my own experience with Filipinas, which I think you can apply, simply learn about Philippines customs, traditions, and learn basics in Tagalog language. By speaking basic phrases in Tagalog, and showing not only knowing some of the cultural traditions, but also honoring them, that went a long way in helping me win over young Filipina beauties. Indeed, it still does, even though I am already married, I inadvertently say and do things that are misunderstood.

If I am ever divorced, I will most likely seek another Filipina.

Filipino culture enforces the idea of "working out the relationship until the other dies". Filipino culture does not have what American culture has, which is "how to be attractive or attract others", but its more of "what can you do to make your partner happy".

So there you go, he's attracted to your looks. But if you want him to go after you, then show him why you are worth it.

The stories unclear as to who my actual grandad is since nobody really knows who he is but my Grandma is 100 percent who immigrated to America at some point in the 70's when my dad was 5 or 6.
