What does it mean when he lets you spend the night with him?

Me and my best guy friend have recently had sex (about three times in the past two months) and I spend the night at his house, in his bed with him, once or twice a week. We are not dating and we are not together, but we do like each other.

The other night we were chilling at his parents house and he let me spend the night there with him. Is this significant at all in any way? I do want a relationship with him, but I don't want to rush him as I don't really know what he wants right now. Any advice on that as well?

Absolutely nothing.

He'll tell you if he wants a relationship with you. Guys can cuddle, hold hands, go out together, buy girls stuff ... and still only want to have sex with a girl they like hanging out with. Friends with benefits doesn't work well because for girls friendship + sex = romance. For guys, it seems they want something else in the equation, though not being one, I haven't gotten it pinned down. But it's insanely rare for a guy to fall for his friends with benefits ...

Have you ever told him how you feel about him? I'm not saying do anything weird like say you love him or tell him plans for you wedding. But just saying, "Hey, I kinda caught some feelings for you. What do you think?" At least then, you don't have to be stuck in a miserable limbo.

No prob ... I've been in your shoes and the more you build it up wondering "what if" and trying to make yourself everything that he wants ... the less happier you are. The sooner you get a resolution, the sooner you know how to move accordingly :)
