What does it mean when a guy ask you to come over and spend the night?

This guy I've know for a while has been asking me to come over and spend the night. He lives pretty far from me and I don't want to spend a lot money on gas just for him to try and hook up with me. I don't do hook ups anymore and I would be pissed.

Honestly it could go either way. He most likely has sex in mind, but he may also legitimately just wanna have a movie night. If I were you I would say "I want to spend time with you, but I also want to say up front that I dont do hook ups"

Who knows, he may want to make movie nights a continuing thing.
