Do you like French girls?

Just wondering. A lot of people find our accent annoying. I can write in English quite fluently, but occasionally my pronunciation is messed up when speaking.

I haven't had any encounters with French women.. The few I know are like 2nd or 3rd generation French Americans so there is no accent at all, let alone find one that actually speaks French. I think the accent is sexy as hell... The only thing I 'heard' that would turn me off, is that they don't shave... Hairy under arms, hairy legs.. and hairy you know whats... I can't have a girl wrap her arms around me with the sight of the hairy arm pit... That would mess with my head... If this is false information, I apologize, and sacré bleu it's just a rumor! ;)

I have noticed many European women on beaches with hairy armpits but did not notice as much leg hair, so it is not just French. And on beaches with nudity I saw women with pubic areas bare and hairy, but those accepting nudity probably treat that area differently. I have also noticed many hairy female armpits on women in certain cultures in the US. And look back at pictures during the hippie movement. Hairy armpits quite common. When it is common, then it does not look offensive.

Haha, I have heard of that stereotype, but I don't think it's all true. There are some girls who are just lazy and don't bother. But like Red Arrow said, Europeans are more open to the idea of being "au naturel" so I would say that most French guys don't mind if girls have some hair. Personally I would never go out, least of all on a beach, without being waxed first lol

I had a feeling it was a mixture of both Stereotypical, and some truth to it as well. I would have to be around that culture for a while, then like most it might not even matter anymore. Love conqueres all right?!?! :) Good post!

C'est pas tragique :) All accents are kinda weird, I have a tiny german accent which is probably the most annoying and ugliest accent ever but who cares.

It depends! I would say that American English is very softspoken and neutral in comparison to French, so most anglophones have trouble making hard sounds like our "r". Practice makes perfect!

Stuck up, snooty, incredibly annoying accent [not the sexy one ;)] and rude is stereotypical. Well it is over here in england but I guess it's fairly common to see English people have disputes with the french.

The only time I find most accents annoying is when it makes it hard to understand the person. I have always had a slight problem picking speech out of background noise, and an accent can make it worse. My problem, but you can help in that type of situation by speaking a little slower, allowing the listener's brain to sort out the words before the next words arrive. I usually lose a few words because my brain has stopped on one trying to figure it out and I miss the next few.

But other than that, I love most accents. Vive la différence.

I don't hate French girls how ever I never met one but if I did and we like the same thing and can speak English who care about a accent. I live in Wisconsin but I grow up in northern Florida and when I moved here when I was 12 I deep southern accent it still come out ever now and then mainly when I am mad

I have nothing against french girls, or their accent. Though, my french is so bad people have compared it to Bruce Campbell trying to speak french, and others said it sounded almost Spanish.

Sorta tough for me some french accents are sexy and some aren't it really depends on the person. Also, hopefully they don't remind me of my grandmother who is french. Are you french-Canadian or french and living in Canada?
